Application Process
Applications for General Assistance-Transitional Assistance can be obtained at our office located at 603 South Randolph Street. You may also call and request for an application to be sent to you by mail.
Once you have submitted all necessary information, the Township Caseworker will make the necessary verifications to determine your eligibility.
By policy we have 45 days from the date of your application to make a decision; however, we are usually able to make determinations within a shorter time period.
After you have submitted an application, we will send you an information packet which contains your appointment time and a list of the documents that you will be required to bring to your intake appointment.
