Application Process

Applications for General Assistance can be obtained at our office or downloaded online from the link below:

You may also call in and request for an application to be sent to you by mail.

Once you have submitted an application, we will send you an information packet which contains your appointment time, a list of the documentation you will be required to bring to your intake appointment, and a few forms that must be completed.

Once you have submitted all necessary information, the Township staff can make the necessary verifications and determine your eligibility.

By policy we have 45 days from the date of your application to make a decision; however, we are usually able to make determinations within a shorter time period.
